Further information
The Cabárceno Natural Park is not a conventional zoo nor a typical natural park. It is a space that has been naturalized by human hands. Built on the primitive beauty of its karst landscape, this park has been created on 750 hectares of a former open-pit iron mining site, and we can say it is unique in the world.
This place is home to more than 1,000 animals from nearly 150 species across the five continents. These animals live in large enclosures where they enjoy a semi-freedom lifestyle. We will tour the park in our minivan, stopping at different enclosures to see the animals.
You will also have the opportunity to view the park from the air, as we take a short ride on the cable car around the park. On this journey, you'll see a wide variety of animals: gorillas, tigers, bears, elephants, and more. Additionally, you’ll enjoy watching demonstrations of birds of prey in flight.
Overall, this is a pleasant and relaxing visit to the park, designed for everyone.
