A proposal for you to enjoy the flavors offered by Cantabrian gastronomy. You will visit an anchovy factory, a vineyard, and a Sobaos factory (local pastry shop). While visiting these places, we will take a scenic tour to explore the village of Santoña and the beautiful Pasiegos fields.

Further information
We will depart at 9:00 AM towards Santoña, one of the main fishing villages in Cantabria and the heart of the anchovy industry in the region. There, we will visit a traditional anchovy factory, Conservas Lavín, and discover the process of making anchovies. You will be amazed at how much manual labor goes into producing this product. Taking advantage of our time in Santoña, we will take a brief driving tour around the area to see the port, the seaside promenade, and enjoy the magnificent views of the bay.
Our next stop will be a visit to Bodegas Vidular, a family-owned winery that produces one of the best white wines in the region. You will love walking through their vineyard while learning about how their wines are made. Of course, we will end this visit with a wine tasting, accompanied by a small snack.
Next, we will head to the Pasiegos Valleys, where we will stop for lunch. The meal will be a set menu at a lovely local restaurant. After this stop, we will take a panoramic tour of the area until we reach the La Braguía Viewpoint. From there, we will enjoy stunning views of the impressive mountains of the Cantabrian Mountain Range. The views will be simply spectacular!
Finally, we will return to Selaya to visit the largest Sobaos and Quesadas factory in the area: Sobaos El Andral. You will tour their facilities and enjoy a guided tasting of their products.
After this full and varied day, we will head back to Santander, where we should arrive around 6:00 PM.
